What is required to turn off the immo on a r36 passat? Is it also possible to change it from dsg to manual?

you can not switch to manual, you need to read eeprom and flash

...hmm not with codding...

Killing DTC gives you nothing. But you can modify the flash to stop the ECU to look for DSG on CAN. The same way you have no more DTC in ABS.

The engine is going into a Toyota mr2 so not worried about any codes it may throw, just needs to run by itself with a manual gearbox behind it
