passat b6 crash after key learn

hi Guys
I wanted to add a new key to my passat b6 2006 today!
I read the login pin with vag dash
login with vcds on adress 25
login pin is correct
Number of keys entered
After the process, no key works anymore
what can I do now

Hi.
I had the same. Find someone with the right device, for example (TANGO) or another. I had a PIN immo and a second key. I tried VCDS and I couldn't do it like you. I had to pay for lack of knowledge

which parts do I have to go to when I build parts of another identical car
ECU, immobox and key?
from which control units I would have to read the eeprom???

Try to program your original key again if you have pin you should be able to do it ,dont try both if you buy key from ebay u need to prepare dealer key and a tag proggramer is needed for that(hope you know that it has to be a new key or unlocked)


And look for fvdi tool on ebay not that expensive for the job it can do .

in Passat B6 you will add a key via VCDS, but the key must first be precoded "for auto".
I understand that the backup comfort module is not done?

Your old key is as it supposed to be. So it will program back in again. The new one is not there yet.
Just contact a Locksmith, which have some more tools. To get you out of this one. And the car, will run tomorrow.
