Hi!

I've an Skoda Octavia with no transponder key.
Programmed a new key (generated chip to tp24 - Skoda can) and programmed the key. Immobilizer still flashes, I can start car only one time but when switching off ignition and trying to start again the car starts and dies - resulting in bad transponder programmed or key not programmed correctly.

Tried following:
Using new chips (3 times)
Using different programming devices (VVDI2 and Xtool)
Changed the ignition antenna

Someone with little more knowledge to what I should do? Though of doing immo off but as I understand this ECU need new glas ic 27c512 and cutting the immo line ?

Not possible to maybe only program key and cutting the immo line afterwards ?

Thanks for the help

Best regards
DeLuXe

I tried that as well at first without generating it to tp24 but same results. A car key professional told me to generate it to tp24. But anyhow same results there :/ any ideas ? Agree with you on that one as well, at first I tried id48 but then did generate but maybe I will try another device or same machine but with new chip tomorrow and see if that changes.

Best regards

it is true he does not need can precoded tp24 but that is not problem he has, car would accept tp24 as it is tp08

you need to do immo and ecu diagnostics , you probably have bad coil reader or communication between immo>ecu , anyway i would suggest you to do immo off....
also you dont need TP24 , id48 (tp08) is enough but anyway TP24 would work on your car

Octavia delivered from the dealer January 2000.
Confirmed ID13
100%. This I personally confirm.

Info from Silca says 1997-2001.

I think I remember that the facelift on this model came in 2002.
Some very small changes on the headlights.
And 2cm more space in the rear seats, since a lot of users complained about this.
And maybe they swapped the immo to ID48 at the same time. But that I can not confirm.
