Hi, the cluster eeprom 93c86 of my 2003 SL500 is fried and i am looking for a bin file donor. The car is EU specs so metering in km/h. The max tacho speed is 260km/h and the max rpm is 65 (×100).
I have dumps for sl55 and for sl500 in mph ... not compatible with my car.
I found a dump for the sl350 in kmh but behaving hectically...
Anyone can share a compatible dump? Many thanks for help.

Upload a picture of cluster's sticker label to see the part number.

Hi, thank you for responding. Here is the cluster info: VDO 110.080.091/022 - part number A230.540.19.11
it is a GCC specs cluster (same as EU specs), with km/h speedo metric, 260km/h max speed, 6500 max rpm

Here .......
I would like to learn about the logic behind the hex file of the dump. I mean, I can read a pattern in the mileage lines, but I have no clue if there is any deliberate offset or inversion to prevent the easy reading and manipulating of the mileage. If I try to simply convert from hex to decimal, I cannot recall anything about the expected mileage I can read on the odometer. Also, where can I find all the lines explained, i.e. dials ranges, kmh/mph setting, ... and so on. ?
any advise to learn is appreciated.

do anyone here have knowledge about the full allocation of information embedded into the IC bin file? I mean, where the language, ranges, units, ... are specifically recorded and how to interpret the coding.
