2005 vw phaeton cluster swap

Hey guys I have customer with 2005 phaeton cluster has failed. Backlight and lcd dead. He purchased used cluster. Will I be able to adapt used cluster using Odis or does it need to be virgin First?? IIRC RB8 cluster.

You should be able to adapt used cluster using ODIS S with Geko Login as long as VW did not start locking used module out in your country....and about mileage correction you need different tool to correct that if you want to
