How can I update the bios? The v4.8 isn't work with my supervag :-(

Is this piece of kit much good? I am considering buying one, mainly to retrieve pin codes etc, but I don't want it to kill my car (dodgy software, etc).

So do I with the original.... :( At the moment mine doesn?t update correctly, gives the error "serious error" at the end.

Any idea?
