Hi,

I understand this may not be in the correct section, but I just did not know which section to post this in.

hopefully there is some ford expert on here that can help me with this,

basically I need to disable the smart charging feature on it (as its euro6 with a smart charging system) and im running a leisure battery in the rear of the van and the stupid smart charging system keeps turning itself on/off but I need a constant 14v going to my leisure battery when the van Is running.

I have read a my transit custom 2019 using forscan,

I went into BODYCM and

I have the option to disable BMS see attached photo,

would this disable smart charging system?

cheers

it is currently set to 1-LIN, I could change this to 0-None or 2-PWM. anyone know if 0-None will sort my issues and disable smart charging?

Sterling is what the swamp people that live on boats swear by.

other thing presumably your ground to leisure battery is directly to chassis and not
earth of engine battery?

try disconnect the smart terminal thin wires but check all functions on van. Heater, a/c. Etc
