what is shown in the photo is not from egr, but a valve that varies the exhaust gases from egr's cooling.
the egr is all electrically driven.
I then advise you to plug the egr tube that connects to the intake manifold.

my file is tested manual solution on many many cars, unplug connector shown in photo and write it, no need plug/blank egr pipe/tube, also DPF will not have problems regenerating

disconnecting only egr will not create problems in the regenerations or make you do the regenerations more often?

it will not cause any problems with dpf, bad solution is when touching EGR hysteresis and that makes DPF regen very hard

thank you for clarifying this doubt that I had for some time. I know that these egr give immense problems and I have a van that uses this engine and I always had the doubt that when it was down, it could come later to have problems with regenerations.
