VW MFD2 DVD Latest 2019 V17 Nav Issue

Evening all, can anyone advise if you need to use an unlock disc to use the 2019 V17 Nav Disc with the MFD2 ?

The issue I'm having is that it doesn't seem to recognise the disc ?

My unit is as shown below:

hey, did you unlock it. I cant find any software to unlock it... btw we have the same unit.
