Hello,

I have a 2013 Toyota GT86 and I have just purchased a 2017+ cluster as I wanted the new temperature gauges.
Before swapping my old cluster out I want to make sure the new odometer shows the correct mileage.
After reading online I saw a lot of people mentioning a 93c66 IC but I cannot find a chip like this on my cluster. (European LHD)
Am I correct in assuming that the chip I should desolder is S93C86 AKA IC6? (See picture attached)

I've never done anything like this before, so any tips / information would be greatly appreciated.
My plan was to use a reflower to carefully heat it up and lift the chip using tweezers from my iFixit kit.
What would be a recommended temperature? Or should I do it differently?

remove chip read as 93c86 x16

Thanks, I'll try to get that removed.
Do you know if I have to remove the chip from the old cluster to get a file generated with the correct mileage?
Or is there a way to get the correct hex code without that?
