Hello,

I have a customer with Fiat Punto and car donīt start. He says its Immo problem , key problem.
He sent me BCM and Key
Body ECU is Magnetti Marelli 46812231 with 93LC66 eeprom inside. File is attached.

I read Key with Zedbull and it says:
ID: 75399CA9
UM1: 5E0120B0
UM2: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
CHIP: MagicII Locked
TYPE: 48 CRYPT Megamos

Someone is able to know is Key is correctly programmed in BCM eeprom ?

I am trying to understand if problem is from Key or something else.

Thanks for your help

Thank you.
So, key is correct. Problem must be somewhere else...

I would say that problem is somewhere else. That is why i never accept these kind of jobs especealy on old cars like this. As soon as customer or mechanic see key symbol on dash or reads "KEY" anywhere on diagnostics they asume key is problem not knowing that it might be other things like reader, wiring, ecu fail etc.... Best to diagnose on car these kind of repairs

Check wire and connector ECU if there are trace of water, open ECU and you'll see water inside.

90% Ducato, boxer Jumper i've worked on had thess problem. 10% program others key if ECU has no trace water dammaged.
