Vas5054A orig with orig Odis 7.2.1 software

I m trying to use original software 7.2.1 with original vas5054A.
Clone softing seems not to work. Odis can t see Vas5054A.

Anyone got the right drivers and how to fix?

Even better solution is to buy a newer vci

Engineering now only supports passthru and 6154.

I think original software configuration is not the same as the one for the clone.

The software does not support the 5054 genuine or clone anymore.

Buy a new tool. The 5054 is something like 15yrs old

I guess you will also start a new thread how to get it to work on Service 8.2 next instead of buying a newer tool :giveup:

If you want it to work you have to edit the files and replace the clone serial with your real one :snot:

You can only use if you buy login. You can use the software for diagnostics but you cannot use for coding parts unless you have account

this is for all softwear of vas 5054a ?? or only for odis 7.21 ?

Hi, can somebody help with odis 7.2.1 vas 5054 (clone)? I have had it installed for years on other laptop windows 7 version 5.1.6 and it is all ok. Now, I want on other laptop to install new version 7.2.1 with same head on windows 10 64 bit. The main problem is that ODIS can't communicate with car. When I go to Diagnostic interface on ODIS and there is shown vas 5054 and the serial number also, but it says "no vci information" "vci not found". The vas is well connected on bluetooth and/or USB cable, serial number 082145725. Any solution please? Thanks.
