Hi,
Suspected corruption of data in Delphi box.
Would it be possible please for someone to pull the PIN for me from the ECU flash(attached), to enable me to restore the Delphi?

Many thanks

Need EEPROM (5P08) read from ECU. It's on the reverse of the board to the flash and MCU.

Ah ok understood. Thanks for that.

In response to johnnybeast's helpful comments, I attach the 5P08 file.
This looks as if it might be corrupted, but if not, any help with pulling the PIN would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks.

the reading is corrupt, only read as 95p08 not otherwise

not corrupted - just bad readed

What does it matter anyway, it sucks :palm2::palm2:

Thanks guys. I read the file insitu, with testclip using my EXP2020, as an ST 95p08. Am I doing something wrong?

You'll need to remove it from the board to get a proper read. Test clips rarely work.

Hi,
I have demounted and re-read the 5P08 as per your earlier guidance. This seems to be looking healthier - I can clearly see the ECU here, so hopefully the PIN will be lurking safely within!
Thanks in anticipation.

Try this :D:D:D:D:D.

Hi.

You need to read it as a 95P80 or 95080 EEPROM, the file size should be 1024b, your file is only 512b.

Incorrectly read but all Pin Code data is visible .

reading only as 95p08 guarantee correct reading

if all the data is visible, why did you not provide it

I gave the pin code to pw. I am waiting for info whether the right one or not.

Thanks. I did try to read as 95P08 with EEPROM demounted, but it gave the same incomplete/corrupted readout as my earlier post. I could only get what seemed to be a reasonably intact file by reading as an ST95040. I recall now from earlier posts that a 95040 read gives an incomplete/inaccurate return.
I will try again as suggested. It seems this chip is notorious for getting an accurate read!

Thanks for the info and help so far.
Just to recap, and check my own understanding. The basis of my problem is a corrupted Delphi Immo2 box, so unable to get PIN from that. DK member amper has provided me with the PIN, from my 5P08 (off ECU) file, which I cannot provide in full, but he has given me his suggestion for the pin (53431).
I want to verify this, but need to reconstitute the IMMO file (93C56) with a working BIN which I presume also needs to incorporate this PIN?
At that point, I can return both units to the vehicle to try.
The ignition key has not been touched, and was previoulsy working, so I am hopeful that it will work with the reconstituted IMMO
box.
Is anyone able to provide me with an ori 93C56 IMMO file, incorporating this PIN please?
Many thanks.
