A customer complains that after replacing the vehicle battery, the Pektron does not react on his keyfob anymore (only one present).

I checked the Eprom and 3 keyfobs are programmed. The last two are active, the first one had code 02.

I changed the first code to 01 = active, but still no reaction on the keyfob.
Checked Keyfob and its transmitting properly.

Question: is it a known problem that a Pektron can "forget" a keyfob during power cycle?

The Barcode of the existing Keyfob isn't present, so I can't compare with EEprom contents.

Any info appreciated.

Removing Pektron would leave half of the car not operational... wouldn't make the customar happier than now.

For me it would be important to understand, what went wrong here and if this happens more often.

PS: or do you mean removing Immo from Pektron? I know option removing Immo from ECU only.
