I tested on V5 clone and it loads FTDI faker before starting,
if the version you use has this then you will be ok

It will work on any windows, it's the OPCOM hardware that matters.

Buddy, your Opcom FW 1.99 has a fake PIC18F458. This means that you can only use the software that the seller provided to you. (Opcom China clone 08/2010 or Vauxcom 120309a)
If you use any software from Fantomel, you will kill your cable.

I sent you a link to all SW Opcom Fantomel (+Opcom 150406b RO). Install Opcom 181022a or 200603a and perform car diagnostics. If everything is OK, it means that the "shooting" is right, not me.

I already use a 1.99 clone with this software.... It uses a PIC18F458 faker to work
only V6 boards don't work, but they are not Ver 1.99 they are 1.39

The best system for cracked Opcom version with loader is OS WIN 7.
In my case Opcom 12, and all versions of Fantomel worked very slowly on OS WIN 8 and 10 64 bit.

Sometimes I saw on Chinese auctions that it is necessary to install NetFramework 3.5.

If you use drivers newer than those included in the software (Fantomel) you will receive a message about the need to activate SW.

Your Opcom looks like a good old V5. If you can change the firmware and it still works, you can try to make a modification towards CH-Can.

I launched op-com with Fantomel software.

The solution itself is version V01.63.

Works properly on 20.8.30 drivers

It had a fake MCU because it died after an update.
OCFlash doesn't see it. Mprog can write FT232RL.
I bought a new original Pic 18F458. I tried to write several FW
successfully on the ICSP port. But OCflash still doesn't see it.
After the Vaux-com 120309 test interface, it gives an error message "Interface is not connected to the car".
I also replaced the Ft232RL, but the error is the same.
The driver is correct. ver 2.08.30

Update the FW to 1.39, V6 Clones are not good at upgrading,
best option is to buy a V5 with FW1.99.
Here is FW1.39 for you to try, also you must be using 2008 driver.

Put the fake PIC back on the board, V6's are not really good at upgrading.

Hello!
I finally managed to fix my opcom Chinese clone.
I wrote earlier that I replaced almost all the components, but it still didn't work!
I wrote several firmwares via ICSP, but OPCOMFUT read the device as empty.
The program also gave an error during the interface test.
After the repair, I wrote the 1.39 bootloader in OCFLASH, then the 1.39 fW file. OCFLASH successfully reads version 1.39.
I launched the 200606a prof software released by Fantomel, which the software immediately updated to 1.67.
Finally, the device woke up.
