Run the software (Autocom which you have installed) Connect VCI to laptop and car. Go to "settings", do a "test", then press the "Update" button. Wait until the update is complete and done.

If your VCI is dual board then you can use FW max up to 1622. It can also be 1423 as well as 1430.
FW 3201 or 3200 is for VCI with single PCB.

If you are doing the FW update correctly, the next time you run "TEST" it should be FW 1622 not 1423.
Watch a movie. If you do as in the video and nothing changes, your VCI may be damaged. It's best to buy a good VCI with a single A++ PCB and start using Autocom/Delphi 2020.23.

Now I am looking for someone with a similar problem. Every time I turn on the reader, it shows Frimware 1423, and after update Frimware 1622. After disconnecting from OBD and connecting again to OBD, it shows Frimware 1423. It does not save update 1622. With WOW 5.00.8 it works perfectly, which makes me think that the reader works. If you can't download RAR with FW 1423, do this:


In SW 2017.3, rename "Firmware" to "Firmware 1622". Go to root folder "WOW" - "ac_diagnosis_module"----"firmware") copy "firmware" and paste to SW 2017.3 root folder.
It should work.

However, I think you should try AC/Del 2020.23. It's much better. Also works with dual PCB VCI and FW 1423.

I also encountered a situation where the 2017.1 software was prepared for the VCI version with the serial number 30251 and then there was no connection with the car. (VCI 100251)

I downloaded fimware 1423 RAR which I did not have. At the moment in Bulgaria it is -11 degrees and it is too cold for me to continue the experiments outside.
