    Default Toyota Sequoia 2004 Immo Problem

    Hello Guys:

    I have a Toyota Sequoia 2004 VIN: 5TDZT38A64S233591
    ECM: 89661-0C551

    somebody changed the column steering and broke the ECU Immobilizer, customer bought a column steering and ECU immobilizer at the junk yard, when he installed the Colum steering the car didn't run anymore.
    I took the ECU immobilizer and pulled out the EEPROM (93C66A) and wrote a initialized dump, with the Autel IM508 and XP400 PRO I programmed 2 new keys (4D chip) and made a 30 min reset procedure, but the car is still death, I tested:
    the key chip -> Ok
    the cylinder antenna -> Ok (match with the transponder 4D)
    cabling 'from' and 'to' the ECU -> Ok

    So at this point I suspect there is something bad with the ECM, because the scanner give me 2 codes B2799 (Engine Immobilizer System Malfunction) History and Current, but I opened the ECM and I can't find anything about this ECM, somebody has the procedure to make a immo off in this ECM.

    2001-02 immo. Inside Ecu… 2003-07 immo. Is separate from ecu. If your sure that the sync was done correctly (good 12 v power source, 4/13 for 30min. ) then your immo is bad.
