Unfortunately, I am a complete amateur, asking you for help with my VW golf 4 1.6 16v on the unfortunate Magneti Marelli 4MV controller.
The problem is that I have to remove the EGR exhaust gas recirculation valve in it, and I bought the car without catalytic converters, so the probe behind the catalyst detects its low efficiency, periodically throwing EPC, traction control and check engine errors.
Unfortunately, as befits an amateur, I used the EGR remover application to edit my file, and it turns out that it will only remove the error codes from the DTC table and physically the egr valve is still working.
I also wanted to increase the idle a bit and while I've always been able to do it with VCDS, unfortunately the controller does not react to the changes made here. The controller is set to 680rpm at idle, which makes it very easy to throttle the engine when starting and maneuvering. C. I wanted to introduce him to 720-740 rpm, unfortunately my attempts were in vain
I would be very grateful if someone would help me deal with this unfortunate Ecu, because I can't safely get to work without EPC, Check engine grrrr.
