Default Sky mini dish zone 1 in Ireland

Got my hands on a sky mini dish 43cm but its a zone 1 dish. Will this work in southern ireland and whats the difference between zone 1 and zone 2?
I just want to use it for fta on a sat receiver like a dream 500s or similiar.
Any irish users out there to comment.

Why don't u buy yourself a bigger dish? Full set up and motor might cost you 160-200. Well worth it in the long run

    Default New mini dish model

I know it's an old thread but it's similar to my query.

I was looking at moving to a basic/easy freesat setup with a Humax Freesat 320GB PVR (or updating an old itgate with a new sat tuner) and an Mk4 Sky Satellite Mini Dish kit with Quad LNB
    ([ame=http://www.amazon.co.uk/Satgear-Sky-Freesat-Complete-Self-Install/dp/B00282BPYS/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1280352035&s r=1-13]Satgear Sky/Freesat Complete Self-Install Kit - New Mk4: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo[/ame]). The dish is labelled as a new model.
Looking at this thread, I assume that this dish would not be suitable as I live in dublin? Would anybody recommend a particular dish? I have been looking thorugh various threads but am getting more confused.
One of the selling points to my missus, of the mini dish, was the smaller size as she has been put off by one of the neighbours who has a dish that NASA could timeshare!

    Default Zone 2 mini dish

Apologies for my last noobie post. I spent ages web'ing for stuff before posting and within 5 mins had found a zone 2 dish on Amazon:
[ame=http://www.amazon.co.uk/complete-Satellite-brackets-connectors-installation/dp/B002Y2QQZA/ref=pd_cp_ce_3]Sky/Freesat New Zone 2 complete Satellite Dish kit with: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo[/ame]

    Hopefully it will be suitable.
