Struggling on this one. 2016 transit custom, alarm active. Tried lonsdor no comms, autel no coms. Ids and fdrs no comms when trying to delete or add keys.
Can the bcm be virginalised and programmed back in with fdrs? Or can we edit eeprom on bench to disable alarm?

No com usually fuse blown, have checked all the fuses?
Tools owned: Hammer, Chisel, Crowbar, Punch, Chainsaw, Cutter and Brain!!!

yes all fuae are ok. Only get no comms when try to add/delete keys, get full comms when diag the bcm

You don't have propre tool for this job
you need tools like AVDI or SmartPro

2014 and 2016 alarm active not possible this is according to Chris as did ask some questions with truecode Ford and said cannot comunicate if alarm active and new bcm is needed as Ford said .

smart pro has an alarm active option , with avdi if you have FR010 you may be able to reset to as built and add key then reset system.

Are you sure is 2014 and 2016 as read everywhere not possible for these year and new bcm from Dealer if alarm active.

ive not tried it with smart pro , but on AD mykeys it tells you if AKL and alarm active on 2014 to 2016 to use the all keys lost option

Did you have to replace the bcm or did you find a tool that can do keys if the alarm is active IV got a 2016 custom all I have tried avdi fdrs and a few others and they make you wait for 10 mins the horn beeps 2 times then the next message says turn off ignition and says incompatible software version

Smart pro can do it.
I had a same situation 2 weeks back.
Avdi, tdb, lonsdor failed but SP solved the problem.
