Default 05 honda CRV help with odometer correction

hello i need help editing the miles on a 05 honda crv 93c66 eeprom. im having this crazy issue. idk whats going on. im able to read it and save the bin file. i go to tachosoft and upload the bin file. I input the new miles they send me the new bin file back. but the issue is when i go write it to the eeprom. im using VVDI prog. it says complete but when i go to power on the cluster it still shows the old miles. No matter what i do it doesnt change the original miles. i will upload the original bin file, and the tachosoft bin file. Can anyone please tell me whats going on. i found a thread that showed all the solder points in the back of the board and it says to jump the crystal to read it but remove the jumper when i want to write to the eeprom. Which i am but no change.

That’s my problem. I don’t know how to manually change the miles. That’s why I pay tachosoft. I read on another thread that sometimes tachosoft doesn’t write the file good. That’s why it’s not working. Can someone please verify for me.

okay so i figured ill go to the local junk yard and look for a new cluster thinking it might be faulty. i found an 06 crv. i read the eeprom sent the file to tachosoft, they sent me the update file. i Went to write the new bin file to the eeprom. Everything checked out okay. But when i power up the cluster its still showing the original miles. ill include the original bin file for the 06 and the tachosoft updated file.

    SOLVED THE PROBLEM!
rookie mistake!! So i went on Tachosoft and said 05-06 uses 93c66 eeprom. thats how i was reading it and writing to it. but thats my issue. the eeprom that has on the cluster is a L56R which after searching on here i found its the equivalent of a 93c56. so i read it and sent it to tachosoft and wrote the new file. and it worked. So moral of the story always make sure its the right eeprom!!!
    thank everybody who helped me.
