MPPS Clone revival

MPPS V21 gets locked after 10 flashes.
I also have a locked mpps v21 which is not detected by the computer .
A better solution would be to write C8051F firmware with either V18 or V21 when it gets locked, but the issue is that C8051F it’s read protected and you won’t find the firmware anywhere online.
There is a solution on how to bypass the read protection which is public from 2021.

Please note this is not my solution. Merely this is what I found when looking for a solution to my now 2 dead mpps clones one being a v18 and one being a v21. It also appears as if the chinese are now selling a v22 mpps clone with a reset buttons to prevent the clone from locking like it does. For those of you that want to fix them IIRC 2 methods are to change the MCU or try to reflash it. This link is merely some of the information I have found to try and fix a clone.

It would be good to understand how the reset function works. Maybe can be applied to previous versions

I would assume it's resetting tokens of some sort within the clone. I haven't gotten that far as I have a ton of other things going on.

V21 was a failure from start. I have stopped at v18 and for rest of ecus in the v21's list found alternatives.
