Ok lucky me has a 1997 chrysler neon to fix that the keyfobs have stopped working. One of the keyfobs transmitts the other doesnt.
I have found this:
1) Locate the DARK GREEN wire with a RED Insulated Terminal behind the Passenger Kick Panel.
2) GROUND the DARK GREEN wire.
3) Turn Ignition Switch to the RUN Position.
4) Press ANY Button on Transmitter. The Doors will Lock & Unlock to Confirm.
5) If any other Transmitters need to be Programmed, proceed Now.
6) Remove DARK GREEN wire from GROUND.
7) Turn Ignition Switch OFF
Is this information correct?
There are also im*obiliser bypass modules out there but there ?120.
Does anyone have the pin outs for the im*obiliser unit located behind the centre of dash there are two, one just unpluggs then replug car loom back together but there is another one , with a single grey plug on, i know the two yellows are starter cut, theres two pink purples and two oranges. I dont want to just join these without knowing what they are ive read somewhwere that this unit does things to crank sensor input to ecu is this true?
pin outs for this unit would be great so i can decide what to do.
Much thanks in advance as always.
Oh ye forgot to say as patrian would say " my girlfriend autodata has got very limited info on this vehicle" LOL
