VW MFD2 DVD unlock

Yes, I made firmware update and unlock successfull!

But my device still not reading burned navigation maps. As I konw the problem is that only few burners can burn correct navigation maps and I don't have the burner from the list:

Hi,

unlock didn't work here either. I burned sw30 update to verbatim cd-r (8x) and mfd2 dvd unlock to verbatim cd-r (8x) too. Same type cd-r's but only update worked.

For some reason, unlock doesn't do anything, no flashing screens, no instalallation bars, nothing. Now I'm wondering could it be that unlock cd-r has been burned too fast (8x). It is possible that it has to be burned with 1x-4x speed but it's weird that software update works no matter how fast cd-r is burned.

Now I'm heading to shop. I'm going to buy some slow cd-r's and couple ouble layer dvd's for the V7 navi. Let's keep this topic active!!

I got it working.

1. Burn the VWMFD2DVDEU0030.iso to a CD (max burnspeed 8x, Verbatim CD-R)
2. Burn the image "Unlock DVD MFD2" on CD (max burnspeed 4x, Verbatim CD-R)
3. Pressing the NAV button on the navigation system and insert CD with the VWMFD2DVDEU0030.iso image, this process may take up to an hour!
4. Push NAVI-button in MFD2 and insert the CD with the image of "Unlock DVD MFD2". Two bars keep flashing (installing..). It's a endless loop, so when the installation bars have once flashed in MFD2 after that it's safe to eject CD.
5. Burn the V7.iso to a DVD (max. burnspeed 2.4X, Verbatim DVD+R DL)

pablo276, as far as i know the DX units do not need unlock. are you looking for factory firmware update?

here is the promised PL menu for MFD2 DVD. burn CD with alcochol at low speed. after update, your MFD2 DVD will be locked again (it wont read burned DVD DL's). to unlock the MFD2 again just use the unlock CD from my first post (do not use the VWEU30 upgrage or you will be back to english).

its for CD version too?? because i have navi cd version (MFD2 DX vw touran and multivan T5)

jarys, i'm sorry but i have only PL menu.
pablo276, my previous upload will not work for DX (CD) version. below is a separate CD image to load PL menu to MFD2 DX.
