Default Renault twingo mk2 new remote programming problem

    Hi,

Did anyone have trouble with programming remote keys for twingo mk2. I tried on a couple but no luck. Car would start fine but remote just wont work. Tried keydiy, no luck. Tried couple of aftermarket keys, nothing. Some people are saying there is a special precoding procedure just for twingo but I cant find any information. Any help would be apricated.

on some you need to code the key multiple times till it codes in properly and remote works with some tools , ive never had an issue with them with avdi and truecode , but ive read some tools struggle , i also tend to use oem keys on them .

Wrong key. Had same problem with Twingo using the usual Renault master/Trafic remote. Some Twingo (2010-2013) use a different key like this one: https://remkeys.com/product/twingo-2...nrk65-remkeys/

Yes, that is correct. Personally I just make correct precoding by Miraclone.

Finally I was able to do it. I used a Xhorse key (purple) and it works great. Programmed it with autel im608.
    Thanks to everyone that replied.

because the remote functions often fail in a short time , this affects all of the generated keys judging by the amount of them i get to change after their cheap service wont come back to them especially on renault and on fiat marelli keys

Had a twingo 08 akl last week tried all possible settings on keydiy &xhorse.. with every try ignition on and hold the unlock or the lock button for 40 -60 seconds .. no joy.
Ordered this key from 3D and went back to the car yesterday still no joy 🥲 programmed the key 2-3 times with 508 and twice with avdi still no joy only starts the engine fob not working
Any idea what the F is going on?

Well to be honest as a car locksmith shop we mainly use keydiy and xhorse keys and we have done a lot of them. So far our experience is that they either work or they don't work at all. So far not even one customer has returned with a keydiy or xhorse key. Even the customer of the twingo didn't complain and says he wants another.

    Totally agree
Personally I see it as xhorse wire/wireless less stable then the XM38 and the super remot(purple bag), and keydiy no issue at all what so ever.
Can you share the pre settings you generated the key for the twingo?

I used the purple xhorse key. Firstly I generated remote under Renault Twingo (there should be only one option for twingo mk2, make sure you done generate for mk3). After that I generated transponder for Clio III. Then just programmed with IM608.

Just a thought. Are you using a new key with the same number of buttons as the missing one?
