The emulator has been around for a long time. I wrote it in 2017, and it works with ANY OPEL/GM ECU in the CAN BUS immo system, whether it is EDC17, EDC16, ACDelco, or is it SIEMENS SIMTEC 76 from Chevrolet Cruze because it is GM immo. It is not popular because I mainly use it for engine swaps in boats or buggies, which can be costly and because the Workshops are often spoiled and reluctant to pay fair prices, as they are used to finding cheap solutions rather than investing in high-quality tools. In case of installation in a car where the CIM is damaged, the emulator does not always help (CAN bus damage or lack of CAN bus statuses sent to the car's information network). You need to have some experience and knowledge to use this solution effectively.

Hello there. i know this message has some time but i would like to ask you this:
is it possible to use this emulator on a SimTec 71.6 from Astra H / Vectra C, in order to adapt ECU to a Astra G with Z18XE Engine?
I know that it would need to have all the Sync Data writen properly from a "working set".
I also know that the Astra G uses K-Line and this would be for a CAN system, so i´m aware of the "mod" that we would need to do if we want to Scan this ECU after the mod (if possible).
Also, i live in mexico. do you know what would be the best site to buy these emulators?
    Thanks

I know i could clone ECUs. but in this case, its an ECU Swap that i would be trying to do.
Old ECUs SimTec 71 are Hybrid, and ECU SimTec 71.6 its normal PCB Board, so i wanted to see if its posible to Swap this ECU type to old Astra G.
