Hi friend, It's easy with VCDS (vagcom) or with an advanced scanner like Launch or Autel, here are the steps:

.- Enter to 19- GATEWAY
.- Select the option : "Basic settings"
.- Select the option in menu: "Reset of reversible crash shutt off"
.- Select "OK", "Do it" or "Adjust" (depends of scanner used) and wait for confirmation message: "Finished correctly"
.- Clear de fault codes and start the car.
.- Cycle the ignition and read fault codes
.- B189FC0 is cleared now.
