YES OPCOM CAN DO THIS.IF THE ECU HAS BEEN RESET OF DONOR CAR ,SHOULD ONLY NEED PASS FOR THE CAR ITS GOING IN. YOU HAVE TO SELECT YOUR CAR IN OPCOM THEN GO INTO PROGRAMMING ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE SCREEN ,THERE YOU WILL FIND OPTIONS TO PROGRAM THIS TO THE CAR. HOPE THIS HELPS

    DONT FORGET TO SAY THANKS

    Thumbs up

You say replacement ecu has been reset? If so go here :
    http://opcomforum.yolasite.com/guides-and-info.php

and use the one about diesel pump programming in there you will find how to program a psg16 pump on a vectra c, it will be same procedure for your ecu m8 .

last few days I have similar situation on 3 opel cars..It Is important that new ecu is reseted...and you need pin code for youre car|for existing immob| you dont need pin from new ecu..

start opcom //conect to immo /read erors/open special programing/ lower buton should be something like pairing or similar expresion...

also with opcom you can/must change the VIN inside this /new/ ECU...

ok now you can start the car..read all erors from engine ECU..of course there will be aditional work..exept donor and donate are apsolutly same ..same aircon..same abs..traction control...there is lot of diferents from car/to car...

    regards!

that means you will make it for sure..still there is posibility that cars dont have SAME equipment..ex donor have manual aircon and youre car is climaautomatik...stuff like that..but you can solve it easy..read all what you can from old unit and folow the screen in opcom when you make adyustment on new ecu..simple procedure

I have opel astra G bertone 2003y. 2.2 DTI BOSCH vp44 pasg16 with 2 connectors. I have asked several people and without success. They say that hist engine is not possible to tune. i have option only to read ECU, not to write.

Does anyone know anything about how is this possible.

best method of resetting for opel ecu's. You should use SPS(Service programming) in TECH2..
