    Default A8 2005 turbocharger regulator

    I have changed the turbocharger regulator J724 for Audi A8 2005 engine 3.0TDI ASB. Now I have DTC code 13128.
    How to adapt it with VagCom ?

    what about if you're trying to save in channel 00 of adaption?? usual this function clears all the learnt values
    or even you try login26262 and look for adaption channels - maybe works for ASB Engine - but not sure
    enjoy and have Fun

    Hi

    Basically this fault code is pointing towards the Component, or Electrical Wiring fault.

    Have a look in here for more info.

    thanks for reply,
    login 26262 not work , is not accepted.
    tried to make the save with 00 channel, and I tried again base setting channel 033.
    I always error (J724): P3348 - 005 - No or Incorrect Basic Setting / Adaptation
    Car is Audi a4 b7 3.0TDI motor ASB.

    to adapt the new regulator to the turbo you need a tester from omnitec and a specific software , there are 2 versions, one for each turbo model ! adaptation is something similar to basic setting, but you can do only with that tool ! better go to Audi dealer for this !

    @gcesare21
    As I see car is manufactured 2005, Elsa Audi from 2006 has all procedures inside, not like these new ones that point you to VAS , i think it comes on 5 or 6 cd's, I got them somewhere, will try to find them and install.

    @catalin
    Whats the model or name of that omnitec tester?

    I do not remember what's the name . Better write a mail to omnitec, or check at audi dealer what tester they use for this job .

    I've checked this old elsa I got, its 2.5 version, all vag cars untill 2003, so its too old....I also have 3.5 version installed and there's no procedure inside, are you sure you have to adapt that J724 device? Because procedure for replacement of that specific part is simple, you replace it with turbo charger....they don't even say that you have to do something else...
