Porsche Piwis Tester Hard drive Failed

hello all, i have the original Bosch Tester KTS 650, my hard drive failed and is not able to operate, I have the PIWIS Installation DVD version 03/2009. can anyone offer advise as how to reinstall the software? it runs on Windows XP imbedded.

I think you need a install disk of Piwis ... or a backup of a HD for a IBM or a Orginal.
Any days back it give it to Download .... but at the New Time for the Garage Forum you can only Download wen you have a login for this.

hi, i was able to locate the install disk of piwis that you mention, easiest way was to search google then look at the cached versions that were available. but now the problem is getting the KTS650 to boot from the dvd drive, i have the original dvd drive that comes with KTS650, but it is USB, most things i have read mention enabling the PC card slot to boot, but as of yet i have not been able.

Is this a genuine bosh kts650 with bosh cables or is it a piwis with a porsche connection cable

i need too know what size hard disk the KTS650 (ie 2.5" 3.5" etc etc) has AND ITS LOCATION its location

I have a PIWIS .GHO Image or so it claims too be

Im going too connect a Hard Disc too my Lappy and Using Norton Ghost im going too point it too Recovber The ghost image too the KTS650 HDD

i would like too try your install disks if you can help
