    From Desktop change the compatibility for your TecDOC shortcut to Windows XP SP2 or Windows XP SP3

    hi guys,

    I'm try to change to Windows XP SP2 or Windows XP SP3 on my Windows 7, but the parts still gray out.

    btw: why there is only a one or two parts available for the car such as shock absorber and thermostat?

    is it something wrong with my data or what?

    thx roadrunner.

    I'm going to try it again.

    The files u uploaded is for 01.2011.

    Hope it works w/01.2010

    After I dl & installed by following the instructions, I still encountered error:

    1. Is it normal to have this error when I do a clean installation: "the validity period for TecDoc CD 1.2010 has expired."

    2. After I finished the steps of copying & override the files like in the instructions: I get this message when I launched it:::

    Application expired (#8500)

    Any idea?

    If your tecdoc is 01.2010, then you must take back time before installation.
    A problem with tecdoc is that, if you have installed it before and then by next install you want to take the time back, it gives error again. You must use special applications which are able of removing it completely from registry.

    Anyway, the patch for tecdoc is not time patch. Tecdoc works for 4 month after publishment.

    My advise, is that you download 01.2011 and install that one.

    Well, whenever I install, I use Your Uninstaller Pro 2010.
    This is one of the best uninstaller that including remove registry keys like u say.

    I don't want to download another version b/c the file is too big & too much time to spend on.

    I hope there is another crack...or way to do this.

    You must uninstall TECDOC 1-2010, then back date on comp. to first quarter of 2010 (example 15.02.2010), then install TECDOC, then use crack I set in attachment.
    Start TECDOC and check date validations.
    After that you back date to normal, and TECDOC have validation to 01.01.2020
    The file extension for validation is "stdocxx.tmp"

    hi roadrunner,

    when I reverted the date on my computer to 02/15/10 to install tecdoc,
    I received an error during installation: "Error while initialising the LifeTime.DLL"

    When I look at the instructions again, this error is appear to x64 users.
    My computer is x86.

    Should I use the x64 procedures or what?

    I use Registry Mechanic & CCCleaner to clean the registry, but still no luck.

    Regardless whether I choose Part Installation or Full installation, it wouldn't install.

    This error appears to users who has taken the time back!!!
    I told you that it is so hard to install tecdoc when you take the time back.

    Tecdoc has understood that you have changed the time of your computer.

    You must deleted from c:\windows file ssystda.dat and than work like I write in previous post.

    I follow your instructions, and delete the file ssystda.dat

    Reinstall the tecdoc, it say: "could not connect database" when I launch it. (before I change back to current date)

    I also try to override the files SftTree_IX86_U_50.ocx" & "SftTree_IX86_U_65.ocx in System32.

    If the tof.dsn in this date, then I get the error:

    [the crack one]
    [ODBC]
    DRIVER = Transbase ODBC TECDOC CD 1_2011
    DATABASE = TECDOC_CD_1_2011

    but if

    I change the tof.dsn with current date to (validity w/31.03.2010):

    [ODBC]
    DRIVER = Transbase ODBC TECDOC CD 1_2010
    DATABASE = TECDOC_CD_1_2010

    I can launch it but with limited parts like one or two.

    I found this solution on a Russian site [don't know what this meant]:

    The file tof.dsn should be here this text:
    [ODBC]
    DRIVER = Transbase ODBC TECDOC CD 1_2011
    DATABASE = TECDOC_CD_1_2011
    You should not overwrite "tof.dsn", this file is unique for every TecDoc.
    Thanks button is the best button.
