peugeot 407 2.0 hdi will not start

hi i have a peugeot 407 2.0 hdi, it will not start its seems to be stuck in economy mode?
engine ecu:
permanent fault. control unit *internal fault
permanent fault. brake contact signal main switch fault
permanant fault. fuel pressure signal open circuit or short to live +ve
perminant fault. rail pressure sensor supply voltage too low
perminant fault. pedal sensor supply voltage too low

bsi:
boot fuse box: rear left brake light fault, short circuit to positive. local

tryed both keys its not immo fault also new recent battery, helpppppppppppppppppppp

Hi there, did you check battery connections? Carry out drop voltage test while cranking, you might have loose ground strap or lazy or shorted starter motor, they used to become crap with time.
There is also a possibility one or more ECUs have become spiked if you try to jump start it not following safe procedures. Check fuses on BSM under the bonnet, always let BSI go into sleep mode by leaving car alone for at least three minutes before disconnecting battery.
And fix your brake light short to rule things out, you never know.

If you have not used peugeot original test, you must be sure that the definition of faults stored are correct, because this reading would seem the ECU died, because she is feeding sensor rail, foot and pressure regulator.
Of course before replacing ECU check it power supply and grounded.

i checked it earlier and the radio and electic windows was working again so i guess it is not in energy saving mode any more, but it just turns over and will not start (if i spray a little brake cleaner in the air intake it will start for a few seconds), i will make sure all earths are ok, check fuse banks, do a voltage test, check fuel is pumping, and parameters test, we have peugeot planet i will take a look tomorrow and let you know how i get on, thanks for your help guys

Your this two fault codes are pointing towards your problem,

Check your fuel filter, Injectors leak, Fuel Pressure Sensor etc etc...........

tested battery steady 12.76v cranking at 9.97v, all earths intact, sorted rear light problem, no leaks, fuses ok, parameters check nothing really to tell as the engines a no go everything zero (see pic), have replacement fuel filter to fit tomorrow, where would i find the fuel pressure sensor? and also where do i find the fuel enertia cut off switch if it has one? thanks for your help guys

there is a presure sensor under the fuel rail at between cylinders injector pipes at gearbox end look underneath the rail
also make sure your bsi is reset
try doing a soft reboot with batt at at least 13v
do a global test to see actual code nos and definitions then post these

cant see the sensor theres 2 much in the way, tuesday i will take off parts and fit a new sensor, if that dont work its going to a specialist, will let you know what it was tho, thanks for your help

Hello see this problem almost certainly is the ECU burned, open it and see if there are tracks saltate.A me with the same car and then the same thing ....

ecu has been tested and been told its dead beyond repair, the only way is a new ecu and egv valve and some other part to put it right? they also said you cant program a used ecu? is there any way round this, thanks
