Free Freesat receivers for LG LF7700 TV owners

Due to technical problems with implementing BBC iplayer and ITV player on LG LF7700 TVs, LG are issuing Free Freesat receivers to owners of said TV.

I've had my 47LF7700 a year,saw your post and rang LG today.The chap I spoke to said they were still hopeful they could sort the problem but as an interim goodwill gesture they would send me a Humax HD Freesat receiver completely free of charge.A top post and great customer service form LG.I am well pleased.

When I phoned up for my free box, the operative said "it seems there won't be an update for the iplayer on this model TV". The fact that LG are offering the free boxes seems to suggest that there won't be an upadate as stated here: LG Offering Freesat Receivers For iPlayer | Join Freesat
