    Default Cummins Driver Reward

    Greetings DK'ers,

First, I did a search for Driver Reward on DK and a DK site search using Google... and to my surprise no hits at all. So I guess I have to start a new thread. Here it is.

On Cummins before 2009, there was a folder named Driver Reward, but it is gone on most of the 2009 and later trucks. I say most, because I did see 1 2010 truck that still had it there.

I talked to a Cummins tech and he said it is still there, but I had to know where to look. So... DK'ers... I hate to ask... but where the heck is it?

I've also been told I had to flash it in by someone else.

if you have a state or province that requires speed limiters it enabls you to set paramiters to give more speed then what is set in the top speed limiter I'm looking into it at the moment haven't hade the adapter and the truck at the same time to try it.

I guess I didn't make it as clear as I can.
It used to be a folder in Insite named Driver Reward, in Features and Parameters. You could enable it, and then it could be expanded with a bunch of sub folders, for additional parameters.

My version is 7.00.0.343... so maybe that is my problem.
But since I did see the Driver Reward folder in one 2010 truck, I doubt it.

jugghack2, you described it's functionality well.

Hercamp, if you hook up to any cummins powered semi, say a 2006, you can see the Driver Reward folder. Then check a 2009 or later Cummins... and it is gone. I found it in one 2010 Cummins powered truck, right where it used to be in Features and Parameters. So I am not too sure sure about what the Cummins guy said... being true.

I have a few cummins to try this on too. Driver reward needs to be set up. In Cat ecm you set targets for idle time, rpm, fuel economy. If the driver hits your targets that you can give him 3, 4 or how many more mph you want. It was meant to give drivers more speed for achieving good fuel economy. Issue is that when you increase road speed you lose fuel economy.

Any Luck on this? What I am mostly after is... If DR exists in newer 2008+ Cummins ecm. ( Like I said earlier, I saw it in one 2009 truck, right where it used to be in Features and Parameters, as a top level folder. Many others I've Not seen it in.) Did they move it to some other (Fleet Management) folder... maybe?

Update: OK, I decided to upgrade to 7.4. I see Driver Rewards folder now in some post 2008 trucks. Don't know if I wouldn't see it in 7.0.xx.xxx version, since I have 7.4 now. I am seeing it now... that's all I know.

Your version of inline adapter will not affect what features and parameters are visible to you, however the version of Insite may.
    Update to Insite 7.4.
I have just checked an ISX with CM2150 ECM, Driver Rewards is in Features and Parameters.
Use the "find" function of Insite if you cannot see it.
