I was spoken to Polish legal dealer of Launch. There are no difference between Launch product.
I would like to have both (Launch and Autoboss), because there are come difference especially in French car.

Carman lite is the best, then Launch X431 master, then Autoboss V30, then MST-1 (AD-1 updation). Do not consider C168 ( it can not be updated)

i have launch x431, carman 1, bosch kts 570, vag com and an old snap on brick.
i had auto boss on loan for a month but much preferred launch for coverage. but at the end of the day all scanners have their own strengths and weaknesses.
most all use the same software for all of their products, so if you have launch diagun, master or x431, they still use the same software & retain all the same capabilites.
but overall I prefer launch for its large range, however, bosch is very good and never doesnt do a car that it says it will do

They have same function,comprehensive diagnsotic tools,no need to connect laptop,test many cars.

Autoboss v30 have good choice on Europen cars.

Some like autoboss v30,others like diagun.

I've tried both the launch x431 master and the autoboss v30 and I prefer the autoboss.
With the latest updates put on it it's a very powerful machine and has very good coverage of all cars.
It's fast,easy to use,well made and is updated more often than any other diagnostic machine.
The launch used to be better but not any more.

Not sure what kind of work everybody is doing, but the Launch has fell short on over 50% of the cars I work on.

On BMW:

Fault codes: 25% are in hex with no description

Coding: very limited if at all. If replacement does not communicate, forget it.

Programming: impossible

Special Functions: depends on year/model The years/models with "good" coverage, I can do the same with any other generic scantool.

On some vehicles like Chrysler, my Snap-On outperforms in in every aspect. Its useless on Chrysler.

VW requires intense instruction (as compared to Rosstech's VAG-COM)

I only use my Launch as a "back up" tool, when the OE tool is being used on another car, and only if its a simple task (reset service indicators or fault codes)

Launh Diagun can't print even there is an print option, print patch, printer recommended.

Also bad for diagnosing Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, Nissan XTrail...

I have the same experience. I installed the print patch, which basically replaced the USBPRN.DLL file in the Windows directory. It's a Windows CE USB printer driver. My Daigun still does not print on PCL Inkjet printers i.e. HP Deskjet nor on HP Laserjets. Which are supposed to be supported PCL printers.

One quirky thing my Diagun had was that the "PRINT" button was not available when I show "Actual Values" or do data streaming. I updated the DISPLAY version to V23.45 and this problem was solved.

Is there anyone there who has successfully printed using their Diagun?
