Default Bosch MP5.1 Peugeot 306 Immo off

    Hello,

Tomorrow a customer will give me a Bosch MP5.1 to remove immo.
I have been searching information and I know that I must read 93C56 and that otocheck can remove immo, but I have a doubt:

Memmory must be readed in 8 or 16 bits???
Otocheck says "try byte swap", but I will not have the chance of try, I will have to send ECU to customer far away from me.

Please, if anyone have immo off or removed immo in this ECU model, I would like to compare original and immo off file to know what I (or software) need to change and know if I'm reading and modifying in the right way.

Anyway, tomorrow I will post original dump, I'm not trying to collect immo files...

    Thank you in advance!

I usually proceed in this way.....if pin6(ORG....maybe other if rotated) is free or connected to VCC - read write as 16bit.....if connected to GND as 8 bit........maybe i wrong but never happens to me

Thank you, your solution is technicaly correct, I will take it in consideration.

But in my case, it depends on what the software expects from the dump.
This is the reason why I would like to compare original and immo off files, to know what to modify and to know if my file is "byte swapped" or not.

    No, I'm not.
I said it based on otocheck.
Tomorrow I will have ECU in my hands, so I will know it for sure.

Other MP5.X models, like MP5.2, have a very simple immo-off proccess. MP5.2 consists in put zeros in first 6 8bit possitions. I wonder if with 5.1 it will be similar way...
    Does anyone know???

    Thank you!!!

I understand I have to put zeros at the first 11 8bit possitions in dump.

    Is it tested solution?

Well, I have ECU in my hands.

Memory is 93CS46. I have found it in another thread in DK. Actually it has B49AF B58097 incription.

Here is original dump. Please, if someone have experience with this kind of dumps, take a look and tell me if correct reading (about 8 or 16bit).

And this is file modified with otocheck...
Actually otocheck does not modify input file, it gives as output file allways the same file, whatever you give as input file.

Can anyone give me some advice?
