Vetronix Mastertech memory card

Hi does anyone on here know how to format blank pcmcia cards to work with this scanner? I have tried both kinds and my scanner will not recognize them. Is there a special formatting step that I need to take in order for my scanner to see it? does anyone know where to get blank cards for reasonable price?

I heard diskonchip has something to do with it but I am lost. I have tried amd and intel cards and the scanner wont read them.

card flush with the linear AMD с / d type (Intel Type 2 +), writing programs using MCE (slot type 2, the old IBM laptop). Capacity of the card should match the size of the program. Format is not needed.

What is MCE? I have IBM T41, when i put the card in the PCMCIA slot its trying to install drivers for it but it doesnt find any. Its asking for pcmcia mtd -0002 drivers. what is the solution?

every aftermarket card I have tried does not read in my mastertech when I put it in. says no program card installed.

to rob311 i had this trouble. you can only use one kind of linea flash card. got 1 from usa but vey expensive. MCE will let you format and write programs to these cards, hope this helps

do you know what kind of card it is? I saw one listed on feebay and got part numbers but its a 32mb. I was looking for like a 4-8mb card.

Does anyone know exactly which card to try for this? I am still stuck on this. I tried amd d, intel 2, intel 2+, centennial. Does anyone have a known good test file I can try? I have 2 mastertechs.

I am going to dismantle a top loading cart. on this and figure out what kind of memory it is and try to make a top loader for it. until then I am still looking for a pcmcia card that works for this.

A 32mb card will work but the newer bin files are 16mb and won't work with 4, 8 or 12mb cards. There is an 8mb bin file that works for Nissan on the original 8mb cards. I think it is V7.2.
