tomtom one xl map

hello can any 1 help i have a tomtom 1 xl its only 489mb i need a uk map for it i found this link UK_and_IE_plus_major_roads_of_WE_1409
on here but i cant find donwload for it and not sure if its the right 1 the link say no longer available can some please help

what navcore do you have on tomtom?

not sure m8 i tryed to up date it i formated it then copy over from a tomtom 1 xl wich was a 986mb it said not enough room this is only a 489mb now it just say no map found

i just need to know which navcore you have so i can give you link to correct map.
tap bottom of tomtom screen then tap version tab and let me know app/navcore version.

i cant m8 i just get a screen saying no map found as i formated it all i know is its a tomtom 1 xl 512mb

you need to also patch your system file or use a patched one

ok funky, lets take it you have the offical navcore for your tomtom, which is 8.010.
1 download fastactivvate from :
Digital Kaos - Downloads - FastActivate_04.08.2010_Premium_edition_v1.4
read the notes on download link.

2 download map United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland_855.2931 from here http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?38ztcyficw42aq1

3 copy map folder to root of tt and fastactivate .exe file.

4 while still connected to pc run fastactivate and click on tab update meta text, then tab maps, then tab patch ttsystem.
job done
