reliable free proxy?

where can i get reliable free proxy server.
Dont mean site prxies like hidemyass etc but something to put in my network settings in browser.
dont care which country a longs as it lasts . Have tried proxies from xproxy etc but its all hit and miss with most time spent trying to find one that actually works.
Dont mind paying couple quid, just dont want to spend frotune.
Basically want to hide my ip when accessing various sites

I used this when i lived in Central Europe to use BBC iplayer etc,
The best out there imo
it has a couple of days trial so you can check it out before you buy.
(You do say you dont mind paying a few quid )
