From my understanding scanxl (with enhanced module) mainly supports american ford. European ford is different. Sometime it should work if you choose the nearest american model to diagnose an european. But that is hit and miss.

There are not much tools for ford.
"Ford scanner" with software "formidable" supports only a few models.
The member mage wrote "dk ford" himself, working on kkl-cable (no can bus).
    Focom seems to be powerful.
For ids you need some money.

Sorry, i got it wrong. I thought the enhanced ford functions are not working. If generic obdII isn`t working, have you tried other software (scanmaster elm or so) with your elm interface?

Friends I confirm that Ford, GM & Mazda enhanced add-on appears activated in the licence manager of my ScanXL Pro, but I have tryied a pair of cars, a 2008 Ford F150 and 2007 Mazda 3, and for both software indicate that enhaced capabilities are not available. I can connect it but using generic OBDII and does not show me enhanced option, What could be the problem?

Friends I think that I found the answer myself. Apparently OBD2 enhanced parameters or PIDs are available only with original ELM based interfaces and are not available in clone ones.

That could be my problem, I have been testing a ELM327 V1.4 clone interface and I can't get that my interface recognize additional car control units using enhanced parameters.

Although this type of interfaces have become really cheap anyone knows if my clone one can be updated to allow it work with additional funcionatilities?

Ideas and comments are welcome. Also some info about if anyone test my idea will be great too.

Enhanced OBD2 pids works with clones too (tested). You have to select right car type in Vehicle manager. When there isn't exact type, you can try select some similar model, where will be enhanced diagnostic available.

For the two cars I have test ScanXL Pro + Enhanced Add-ons, Mazda 3 was not available in Vehicle manager, then I created it. I can select another Mazda car already available to look if it activate the option. But for the Ford F150 I test it already shows me the option (Ford Enhanced Parameters) but it never can connect to it.

I have been playing with ScanXL Pro about my issues with Enhanced Add-ons and I found as xbobcz told me, that many other connection options are available if different models of a car type are selected. The problem is that I still can not connect to it using a enhanced parameter set, only can do it using Generic OBDII. All times the error is interface not available when I try to use Add-ons and it works quite good using generic OBDII.
This is ODD but what could be the problem?????

Just to reminder for you all...
ScanXL is for U.S car only. Enhance feature is only for GM,Ford and Mazda only.
For peop who have problem with crack( possibly antivirus blocking the crack )...Use the second link download.
Remember to read instruction (Read Me ) otherwise you will not be able to get Enhance Add-Ons.
Here is how to enable Enhance Addons....
    1. Install ScanXL Professional
    2. Copy and overwrite scanxlpro.exe to ScanXL Professional install dir.
    3. As license information you can use anything( Name. aaa,Organization. bbb, Customer ID. ccc ....so on )

If you don't want to registered, then use generic obd2

    Enjoy
