Default Nexiq Usb-Link to flash GM's

I wondering if this word work?
I currently use my USB-LINK to run Toyota factory software Techstream (plus all my HD vehicles).

I have a shared login to GM TIS2WEB and I usually barrow the TECH2 (from the same friend that gave me his login) when I need it to flash a car.
I was first thinking about buying a Mongoose USB to Obd2 Cable, so I didn't have to take his Tech2 from his shop.

    General Motors (VPW/CAN)

Well after thinking about it I'm wondering if the same OBD2 wire I made for Toyota's will work for GM flashing?

    Thanks.

The USB link supports J2534, so it should be able to. I think it would be a matter of TIS or SPS supporting it.

Well TIS supports J2534 passthrew device. So I think that covers it. Problem I heard is voltage varying or something along those lines (hoping someone else can shine some light on this for me).

For example there is a ton of J2534 usb to obd2 cables (cheap) and so is my USB-Link. But everyone says to buy a CarDAQ plus. 1400.00 just for J2534. Theres something it does that normal adapters don't.

You can use ANY J2534 Device for to making Re-Programming and ONLY, about GM Brand...
    I repeat = for Re-Programming and ONLY!!!
And i talking about "Mama" ECU's...
And of course WHEN existing "Update" Software for those via TIS2WEB...

For Used-Swapped ECU's or Brand NEW (Virgin) ECU's = FORGET IT!!!
    NO any option for Programming...

    X-Mas Regards!

Not sure I really understand what your saying, but I would like to know the difference between the 1600 Cardaq Plus and a generic J2534 device, like using my USB-LINK. When I use Tis2Web what will it do different then the Usb-link.

Hello, not sure if this is the correct place but here goes. I need a combination of pass thru device and software to program in 2nd hand GM (Australian HOLDEN) ecu s to match them to the vehicle. Will actia multi diag work with GM TIS and "match" 2nd hand ecus, or am I better off with the mongoose cable. Any experience or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
