Texa software

Hello guys.

I have a Texa Software, IDC3 tribox mobile, and about diagnostic is very good and complete. It allows to do some sort of telemetry, gives the value of a lot of parameters (air mass, water tem., etc) in function of time in graffic presentation too. Is very usefull for immo, engine ecu and cluster stufing like reset, program, etc.

I only have one complain, the support sucks, mainly here in Portugal. I bought it 3 years ago and when i have a problem or doubt (it happened 10-15 times) i call for suplier and nothing...just have to do by myself.

Some time ago i bought a spare ecu, an ME1.5.5 for an Opel Corsa Z12XE engine for doing some experiments. The ecu didn t came reset, and bring the security code allong with.

I tought that could manage that with my texa soft, by i cant.

First just tried to reset and program ecu, the immo light keeps blinking.

Then tried to reset immo too and adapt do engin ecu, same problem, immo light blinks.

What i want to ask is if someone tried something similar with this kind of soft and give me a clue if is possible to reset this ecu (i think it is) and what am i doing wrong.

Well, at LEAST for Opel - Vauxhall ECU's = STOP to "Dreaming" about Resetting - Virgin - Programming with ANY of kind about those Tools - Software's!!!

You see, i think i can do it because i can reset my original ecu with texa (at least cant start the engine after reset and the immo light starts blinking). And then program too.

So that just leaves two options:

1. Cant reset engine ecu in a diferent car from original;

2. The ecu is damaged.

About the second option i don t believe much on that because at least i tried experimenting actuators with texa (ignition coils, injectors, fuel pump, relays etc) and all works ok.

Some more ideas please?

I am sure you must reconnect ecu to original car and reset first before transferring to donor car, also you must reset ecu in donor car then I believe reset/reprogramme various other modules/controllers for this I don't think texa has capapbility

You can reset donor opel ecu, in different car even if you dont know security code . By using opel pin reader by nasratech or abrites opel commander with special functions.

Thanks a lot obdmaster, thats what i am looking for.

I am trying to do a complete understanding of this ECU, including disable immo by myself. But my real aim is to remap this one. The spare ecu i bought is just for caution and to have two if i do something wrong.

Hello guys.

I emailed Abritus asking if this tool ABRITES Commander for OPEL/VAUXHALL 3.4 could read/write eeprom on ME 1.5.5 ecu.

They answered its not possible.

I ask if some of you, forum users know some method to enable disable immo on this ecu.

Where on this forum did you see someone who posted an activation code ? It is possible only Texa Dealer !!!
