Performing engine download with lexia3..??

Hi to all,
Is it possible to preform an engine download with lexia 3/
P-Planet clone....??
Is it safe to do so..??
If so what is the proceedure ...??

what do you mean by "engine download" ?????

It is possible mate, to download an engine ECU first at all you need lexia updatet by cd-rom because as I guess you dont have a valid account to log on citroen service. So yes is possible either using an account either your lexia must be updated by internet or cdROM. You must try

Peugeot/Citroen download software tru the internet which updates the ecu's software....I think there is an option in selecting the downloading menu with lexia/planet.
1)download tru internet.(which the dealers use)
2)download without internet.

Thanks Albanais...So i need to use the latest software to do this...Have you tried downloading without the internet..??
I don't want to wipe my ecu...

If you doit with out internet you are using hard disk you have some software is not allways lastest but if you have pp2000 in last version is very well if i remember well is with f4 or f3 chek with your pps, is no preblem you cant doit wrong, only see baterry level

Ohhhhhh how so wrong you are

If you don't have an issue that has a software fix then I would not try it, offline updates can cause more problems than you had to start, and no way to change back. Unless you have a problem that a fix was released for I would not try it... the ONLY way to almost guarantee 100% success is online and even then they get it wrong.

yes you can update the software using the hard disc, but don't worry because if lexia is not up to date it will not allow you to download the engine ecu, so it will pass only if you have an updated lexia or a cd Rom which includes the updates that you need

I dont think like you the only diference is beacuse internet is the last software in many case if you have pp2000 in last version is the same soft on internet and hard disk, if you doit by internet or by HDD in both cases you cant change back is the same, and in mast cases when you are going to doit pp2000 alert to you what is the problem to solve, if don the alert is not for your problem then maybe you can have a problem, if is no alert then is only a few adjustment in most cases is very good for example engine ew10j4, ew10a in coold start, i only dont doit in bsi ,only in bsi by last way, you can doit for bluetooth for new phone is many way you can doit

I can't imagine that there is a difference between offline and online programming files. Online files could be more actual, but both ways should work. Or am i wrong?

But "never touch a running system" is always a good way to follow. If there is nothing to fix, it can't getting better, but maybe worse.

Mate! Just listen uncle Drakov! And forget about any programmings/reprogrammings by Bluetooth. Just forget about such thing......otherwise smile from Your avatar face will be gone pretty soon.
