    Default trying to Telnet box

    any help on how to telnet? i'm using Dremset and on the Telnet command screen its asking me to login in, but i'm not sure how to correctly enter the root - dreambox password ?

    thats cos the passwords not set ...type passwd then enter your pass , confirm and away you go.

    still strugglng - at DM800 login, if i type ROOT it asks me for the password, but doesnt accept DREAMBOX, is says login incorrect. I know for sure the password is deffinetly Dreambox

    If you are typing in the higher case it may be that its case sensitive, try it in lower case ?.........

    ITgate TGM220 (swapable tuner), Dreambox 800 pro, Dreambox 500c x 2, DBox, Popbox media player.

    why not try ftp and check if the same pass works if it does the ur doing something wrong..
