opinion on q box mini hd

anyone have any experience with this box or a reviewi know it can run cccam via oscam and was looking at it as a 2nd box i must admit i love the lil colour display its either this or a vu+ solo ( have no need for the duo) opinons please ???

Depends on what you are looking for as always but for price against features (one's that actually work unlike some others we all know of) then you are going to be very hard pushed to beat this...

Running many popular plugins already, CrossEPG, MyTube Player, the softcams as you've mentioned (though plenty more to it that just OScam), twin card slots, plug and play twin tuners with option for DVB-S/S2, DVB-T and DVB-C and full colour LCD on the front (really looks classy with the full colour picons showing on the front LCD), iPod/iPhone/iPad connection feature and a whole bunch more for around ?200, it's without doubt the best priced HD Enigma2 receiver I know of! Based on what's on offer against what you pay I honestly think they've been under priced, but I guess that will please a few end buyers! The other thing worth knowing is that support for this is very much alive and well, I think by their own admission Duolabs maybe got things wrong with the way the older QBox went, but be under no doubt they have got this one right in most every respect!

If I honestly didn't think this was the real deal there is no way we'd have become a distributor for Duolabs, based on my own tests though I had no qualms about doing so, I was and am genuinely that impressed with them, and as always if anyone ever wants to see one running before they buy they are welcome to come over and see us prety much anytime...

All that said then you should still not totally write off the SOLO! They are a great receiver, plenty of features, all the usual plugins, masses of third party images and support, in short they just work and are still the best best priced single tuner Enigma2 receiver around that actually does what it says it will! Ran one of these for months in a bedroom for myself and to be quite honest forgot I'd got it there, it just worked, prefered the BlackHole image myself but it's each to their own on that one.

Hope that helps some, I realise some may think that I can be a bit biased as a seller (I can assure you I never try to be and always just give genuine personal opion on receivers) but if any other owners want to comment then feel free, just don't think you'll find that many QBox HD Mini owners right now as the stock has been so limited, however by around this time next week you may well find there are a lot of happy new owners around

Cheers for the detailed reply mate I must admit I am a complete gadget freak and that colour screen has swung it for me I think. I like the solo I really do however the lack of a display for me at least is a major let down I'm i think ill go for the duo mate after that much appreciated
