    Hi guys, i'm trying to read the above eprom ST M27C512 using DIP32-PLCC32 adapter, but read is showing blank. I'm using willem GQ-3X programmer, i also have x-prog and upa. If anyone could give me pointers, i would be really grateful. Thanks

    GQ-3X programmer with DIP32-PLCC32 adapter must read this flash, be shure to have a good contact in adapter with flash !!!

    Yes many time PLCC socket is to deep maked as bad copy of original socked and chip go to many down.
    You have right 1000%.

    Dont know that if there is a SW update for pin configuration for 27Cxxx of PLCC32 package. And this as normally does to many universal programmer for 27Cxxx PLCC32, willem GQ-3X also, needs DIP28-PLCC32 adapter and not DIP32-PLCC32.

    Thanks for your comments guys, is everyone sure on the adapter dip28 and not dip32?

    xprog adapter mate and try giving the contacts on the chip a bit of a clean with a bit of wet or dry or as i use the wifes emery board
    make sure its clean
    it also helps the soldering back
    straight forward with xprog adapter
    Today is the Tomorrow you worried about yesterday ......Was it worth it ?

    Still having trouble with this eprom, i cant see anything on x-prog to read it???

    hi mate
    i have plcc32 to dip32 adapter but it not have any component on it
    i think your problem in your adapter type

    All sorted, just had in the new adapter dip28-plcc32. Thanks for your help guys
