    Angry how to setup mgcamd

    hi guys need help setting up mgcamd on my dm800 clone running openpli image. iv been told so many diff things i.e need newcs installed aswell etc.. wats the truth?

    iv installed mgcamd via plugin menu and seems that all files are in correct places, iv edited the newcamd.list file to the following
    CWS_KEEPALIVE = 300
    CWS_INCOMING_PORT = 21000
    CWS = 192.168.1.1 20000 dummy dummy 10 02 13 04 15 06 17 08 01 10 11 12 13 14 lan server1
    CWS_MULTIPLE = 192.168.1.2 20000:20005 dummy dummy 10 02 13 04 15 06 17 08 01 10 11 12 13 14 lan server2
    CWS = *my line*

    and the mg_cfg to the following
    # EMM messages
    # 00 don't show any EMMs (default)
    # 01 show only valid EMMs
    # 02 show valid and bad EMMs with complete data display

    G: { 33 }

    P: { 02 }

    Code:
    newcamd.list

    CWS_KEEPALIVE = 300
    CWS_INCOMING_PORT = 21000

    CWS = ip-address port user pass 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 server1
    c lines only work if you have cccam 2.1.1 or lower installed
    they go in cccamd.list

    get rid of most of the crap in the newcamd.list file and keep it simple

    CWS = 192.168.1.1 20000 dummy dummy 01 02 13 04 15 06 17 08 01 10 11 12 13 14 lan server1

    ensure your newcs.xml file port and username/password match what you have in the newcamd.list

    I've tried everything above, but still unable to get mgcamd working.

    I'm using OpenPLi-2.1-beta-dm800-20110814-sim201-ssl82.nfi

    disable the autostart of mgcamd

    then telnet onto your box and run mcgamd manually thru command line - this way you will see why it doesnt start up correctly with debug information

    I normally use this method to debug why a softcam doesnt work properly and 100% of the time I can find out why.

    i know this is an old thread but how do you arrive at g = 33
    { 01 }
    C: { 01 }
    A: { 02 }
    U: { 01 } 0x12c0
    T: { 00 }
    G: { 33 }
    N: { 07 } 5 30
    K: { 05 }
    Q: { 600 }
    P: { 02 }
    O: { 00 } username password
    S: { 03 } 80
    L: { 03 } 172.16.1.1 28007 /tmp/mgcamd.log
    E: { 15 }
    H: { 07 }
    R: { 00 }
    D: { 00 }
    B: { 00 }
    F: { 01 }
    where do you get g =33 from?
