To prevent piracy and illegal sales of cracked versions of our software, Vivid Automotive Data & Media has decided, together with other major publishers in the market, to limit the offline (DVD) versions of our software in certain languages and regions.
Our motivation
Vivid has been promoting the use of its online application since its initial introduction in 2006. Our distributors also recognize the online version?s many advantages, including:
Monthly updates of all major data modules
No installation problems
Immediate correction of data issues
Integration with a customer portal can be set up in days
Data security and protection
It is generally accepted that cracked DVD versions are seriously harming sales and this is the driving force behind our policy change.
