Audi A6 2005 3.0TDI Odometer correction, is there an easy way?

Hi,

i want to replace the dash of my 2005 A6. Whats the cheapest and easyest way to correct mileage at the replaced dash.

the only tool i have so far is vcds, and as i read correctly its not possible to correct mileage wirth vcds.

so whats the cheapest way to adapt mileage?

with a vw audi km tool or change a new instrument cluster

Or take eeprom and micronas micro off old dash and put them into replacement will transfer all data

but this hard with standart soldering equipment.

is there a way to do this via obd? i read about vag k+ commander in several versions, to work.

and there are a lot of china clones f?r about 15$ on ebay. are they supposed to work? i need them for just that one job?

Of course the Chinese clones of 15usd work "perfectly" , buy one of these devices on e bay and you will always be "smarter" than us " dumb " we buy devices 5000e- 10000e ( dp3, enigma, Avdi, dashcoder... ) long before as you be back on DK forum with a new thread , " HELP my Chinese clone is killed dashboard while try attempting to read ....."
So that you are to " be smarter " and always cheaper than us !!!! For you if you buy from 15usd interface, rewarding their service and 5USD (of course if you manage to do something successfully ) `

Audi A6 2005 4F has Magneti Marelli dashboard. No micronas inside.

A6 4F has no more immo in dash but it has component protection. You have to do the dashboard change with VAS50xx.

KM you can change with every professional tool.

DONT FORGET AUDI A6 4F km in Dash,ECU,and DSG when you have and give you pin from dash and ecu.

Not sure if Gecko access is need but I believe it is mandatory.

ok so i am beginner in this, and i wont do this often because the only reason why i want to change my dash is because there are some with monochrome display in the middle and some with colour. i have monochrome and i want the colour one, there is no need to change km in ecu, gear or else.

i am also sure that the professional expensive tools are better in quality. but fot my purposes to change the kilometers once, im fine with the cheap china rabbish, if it works for that.

i have a clone china vcds and it works great, i mean its only electronics. mostly that are the same parts like in the original interfaces.

i dont worry about component protection, for that reason i can go to my dealer for deactivation, but im not sure if he will change the km.

magic dash can is more than 1000$, for this money i can go to audi and buy a new dash, but i want to do it on my owe with a used one.

The saved 4990 from profi tool,you can take later 1000 usd to buy new dash in case u need it

I bought a super vag k can 4.8 some months ago, and it works good with my car , it is cheaper than super vag 2.0.I think you need it .

Are yoy OK?????Look good Magic dash Can(NOT X CAN)320eur and you have tool for ever or not?
