Default PEUGEOT 206 FRONT WIPERS NOT WORKING.

    HI DK members.
I have a peugeot 206 on a 2002. It is come to me as front wipers not working at all at all speed. the owner has changed the BSI unit, front fuse box and a new wiper motor. i have plugged in my peugeot planet but come up with no fault. checked all the fuses. but all is good. i ended up changing the airbag stalk which i though would be the problem as the airbag light was on and the horn wasn't working after it was replaced the airbag light gone off and the horn is working as well. i do not understand what to do now. i even checked the wire at the motor to the fuse box but all good no wire broken. can some one please help me as the owner is blaming me for the fault now as i put the stalk in. thanks in advance

Run a actuator test with PP to turn the wipers on. If they work then the COM is faulty. If they don't, check for voltage at the motor. If there is no voltage then the fault will probably lay in the BSI

HI thanks but i have checked power at the motor connector got 4pins. got 2earth and one power nthng to the 4th pin only when wiper turned on at high speed get a earth for a few seconds then goes off as the relay clicks off. and if the connector is connected back to the motor 12v goes off so no 12v when plugged in.

Basically the wiper stalk might be the problem but normally these are called comms units which are intergrated with the indicator side. If yours is seperate you have not got a Comms unit. have you the last 8 digits of the chassis number
